The Pilates method improves and educates body awareness, posture, flexibility, strengthening, coordination, vitality and movement efficiency.
In addition to relieving physical and emotional stress, practicing Pilates can help relieve chronic pain, increase energy levels, and efficiently work internal organs.
In mat Pilates classes, the work is mostly against body and floor weight, with the use of props from time to time.
